Four Winds is an uptempo acoustic rock song that was written and recorded in Dinard, Brittany. The song’s origins are reflected by the area’s maritime life and connections. Stonecraft’s songs often reflect a deep connection to the natural world and a spirit of exploration and wonder. Through the use of traditional Celtic instruments such as the cittern, bouzouki, and mandolin together with acoustic guitars, drums, and bass, the duo creates a sweeping sound that offers the listener an escape from the mundaneness of everyday life into a world that feels more mystical and as powerful as the sea.
